Bearing the Wind Load
This past Sunday Dr. Jeffrey Arthurs preached a sermon that looked at 2 Corinthians 4. He described how when bridges are built engineers need to calculate the wind load to ensure that a bridge will stand during storms and bad weather. Our lives bear wind loads too: troubles, times of sufferings, and hardships. Dr. Arthurs shared how our perspective impacts our response to those troubling times. From chapter 4 he pulled out three perspectives to help believers bear up under the wind load.
