As we continue our series "Advancing in Adversity" we find Paul on a perilous sailing journey. Sailing in his day could be quite dangerous and this trip does not disappoint. God is often in the storm in the stories of the Bible and he is in this storm as well. The other travelers should be thankful that a believer in the God of the storm was with them. They're rescued because Paul was with them. Do you know that God has mercy on the world because of his children in it? If only others could see what God is doing the way we can. He is with us in the storm, and he is with those who are with us in the storm. What a merciful God.
