Living in the Tension
As we continue our series, "Advancing in Adversity," we find Paul in captivity for over two years to the Romans. A new Governor, who seems more pro-active, takes up Paul's case. But when that is not going well, Paul feels compelled to appeal to Caesar. There is a lot of tension in the story. What is God doing? How do Paul's actions fit into what God is doing? How does this advance the Kingdom of God? The story helps us to realize how our lives fit into God's plan and how we move in God's plan in the midst of the tensions we face.
