We have two remaining Sundays in our Esther series "When God Seems Invisible. The story is not over yet. For me as a teacher, these are actually the hardest part of the story, the revenge of the Jews on their enemies and the celebration of that revenge. In what way was God involved in the killing of Israel's enemies? How was that OK? The Esther story predates the life of Jesus and God's New Covenant. It is obvious to most who read the New Testament/Covenant that something has changed. I am thankful for God's mighty redemption, how it unfolds in history and to know the Savior and Son of grace and truth.
