This Sunday we return to our Advance series in the book of Acts. We will consider “God’s Work in Adversity.” Paul encounters serious adversity in Philippi from a spectrum of places. It is excruciating. Yet we see that God is clearly at work through these challenges. He is at work in others lives as well as Paul and his team. As the ministry becomes harder in Philippi, God’s presence and power are strong as well. Ultimately God is shaping us to be like our Savior.
