This week, Christmas Sunday, we look at young Mary’s Song of Hope in Luke 1:46-55. She is bursting with praise that God has included her in his redemption plan for the world. She adores God because he is mighty and he is merciful. For her, God’s might and mercy are very personal, all the way down to the baby in her belly. God’s might and mercy are subversive. He is able to turn the world upside down exalting the humble, humbling the proud. And God’s might and mercy are faithful. Every generation from Abraham to ourselves has an experience and song of God’s faithfulness. Please come expecting to experience the blessing of God in worship.
