This Sunday we will return to the book of Acts and pick up where we left off last summer in our teaching series “Advance.” In 15:36-16:5, we see two brief scenes at the beginning of Paul’s second missionary journey that illustrate how hard they had to work to make their relationships work, both with those within the faith and those outside of the faith. In scene one they have to work through a very difficult disagreement. In scene two they make personal sacrifices to improve their reception with those who have yet to believe. When Jesus comes into our lives, he transforms the way we do relationships. These stories are challenging and hopeful.
