From the Heart Comes…
As we continue our series "When God Seems Invisible," in Esther, the contrast between Esther and Haman is quite dramatic. Esther is coming off of a 3 day fast when she approaches the king. This is a fearful and tenuous moment for her. Haman is seething with rage and trying to prop up his ego with admiration, boasting and revenge. One had spent time seeking to align her heart with God. The other is striving to promote his own glory. Truth be told, our hearts are capable of going either way. Perhaps seeing the contrast can help us choose which way we will choose.
