This Sunday we continue in our Advance series in Acts with the story of Paul’s teaching in Athens on Mars Hill. In this story, Paul gives an amazing example of what it means to share the gospel with a different culture, the Greeks in Athens. We will think together as a faith family about what it means to cross bridges from our culture to a different culture. We will also think about how the gospel both connects with and confronts every culture. There are natural bridges between the message of Jesus and every culture and there are ways in which the message of Jesus challenges every culture to be transformed by the truth. Do we, the faith family of West Church, have cross-cultural work to do in our community and context?
