Wednesday, December 4
The Senior Pastor Candidate will travel to West Church and have dinner with the Pulpit Committee at 5 pm
Thursday, December 5
Young at Heart Gathering 10:00 am-noon | Lyons Hall
Age 55 and older members of the congregation are invited to come for a meet and greet time with the Senior Pastor Candidate and his wife. They will share their testimonies of coming to faith. A time of Q&A will follow.

Dinner: Board of Deacons and Deaconesses and the Board of Trustees 5:30 – 7:00 pm | Upper Room
The Senior Pastor Candidate and his wife will join both boards for dinner at the church for an opportunity to get to know these leaders.
Dessert Fellowship ALL CHURCH EVENT 7:00 – 9:00 pm | Lyons Hall
All are invited to come and join a Meet and Greet time of fellowship with the Shoemakers. Then Pastor Bill will teach on spiritual formation and discipleship. A time of Q&A will follow. Childcare is available for children (nursery – grade 4) for those who sign up ahead of the event.

Friday, December 6
Coffee: McDonnells 8:30 am | McDonnells’ Home
The Senior Pastor Candidate and his wife will be spending the morning with Pastor Rick and Kathy McDonnell.
Coffee: Leadership Team 11:00 am | Church
The Senior Pastor Candidate will have coffee with the members of the Leadership Team.
Marriage Builders7:00 – 9:00 pm | Teals’ Home
The Senior Pastor Candidate will be joining those who attend Marriage Builders for a time of fellowship. Following dessert, they will share their story of how they met and he will speak on how God has used their marriage as a tool in his spiritual formation.
Saturday, December 7
Breakfast: Transition Team 8:30 -10:00 am | Upper Room
The Senior Pastor Candidate will join the Transition Team for breakfast at church for an opportunity to get to know this team better and learn more about their work.
Lunch: Missions Committee 11:00 am – 12:30 pm | Upper Room
The Senior Pastor Candidate will join the Missions Committee for lunch at church for an opportunity to get to know this committee and learn more about missions at West Church.
Ice Cream Social ALL CHURCH EVENT 3:00 -5:00 pm | Lyons Hall
All are invited to come and join a Meet and Greet time of fellowship with the Senior Pastor Candidate and his wife. Then he will teach on his call to ministry and philosophy of ministry sharing how these would impact and influence his leadership and ministry as Senior Pastor. A time of Q&A will follow. Childcare is available for children (nursery – grade 4) for those who sign up ahead of the event.

Sunday, December 8
Worship Service 10:30 am | Sanctuary
During the morning worship service, the Senior Pastor Candidate and his wife will be introduced and he will preach during the service.

Following the morning worship join the Senior Pastor Candidate and his wife for a time of informal fellowship in Lyons Hall.
Evening Service 7:00 pm | Sanctuary
The Senior Pastor Candidate will be planning this service with the pastoral staff of West Church and will be preaching.

Sunday, December 15
Special Meeting Following the Worship Service
In accordance with Article VI, Section B.3, the seven members of the Pulpit Committee call a special meeting of the congregation on Sunday, December 15, 2019, following the Worship Service at West Church for the purpose of voting whether to extend a call to the Senior Pastor Candidate presented to the church by the Pulpit Committee.
